    Quarantine question

Do do have to quarantine snakes seperately even if they arrive together? Do you have to put them in seperate rooms?

If they both came from the same person, you'd might as well quarantine them together.

From what I've gathered from reading on quarantine is that different rooms do not really matter. If it's can spread through the air, anything in the same house is going to catch it. Most things will be transferred by contact so as long as you don't handle your quarantine animals and then go handle yours without changing clothes and washing hands (and of course don't use the same tongs and such) you should be fine. I keep my quarantine animals in a tank in a different the room from my others, just to remind myself and others of the quarantine. If they are from the same breeder I would quarantine together, if from different breeders, I'd personally separate.

I meant more like quarantining them from each other. Lets say i get 2 snakes from the same breeder and only one is sick ( you dont know which thats why quarantine in the first place). Would i have to take care of one then shower/change then care for the other and shower/change then handle my established ones?

You don't have to shower/change. Wash your hands up to your elbows and then use some hand sanitizer just to be safe. That's why most breeders at the reptile shows make people sanitize their hands before handing them a snake.
