    Camera problem

My wife just got a camera from her mom and I bought one for her as well. I need help on which is better. One is a Canon PowerShot ELPH 320 HS 16.1 MP Wi-Fi Enabled CMOS Digital Camera with 5x Zoom 24mm Wide-Angle Lens with 1080p Full HD Video and 3.2-Inch Touch Panel LCD (Red) and the other is a Sony DSC-W730/P 16.1 MP Digital Camera with 2.7-Inch LCD (Pink). Which would you chose?

Honestly both Canon and Sony make fairly decent point and grunts for the average user. Most people would be happy with either line.
Personally, I'd look at the features each has and how likely she is to find them useful. Also, look at the glass, a quality lens makes a big difference, as does optical zoom versus digital zoom.

I don't want to open them if I'm going to return one.

That is where Googling the model for reviews is your friend. I bet you can also check out the manuals online if you want to get that in-depth.
