This is another reason why I love LLL Reptile

Hey everyone. I just wanted to give some more positive feedback about LLL Reptile. I have purchased all my reptiles/supplies/enclousres etc from them. I have said before I frequent their Oside and Escondido store and know a few of the Employees on a first name basis. I have always had amazing service from them and would reccomend them in a heart beat. Here is one more reason why. When I was looking at getting my BTS I was constantly in contact with Jen (who posts on here) blowing up her inbox with tons of questions about care and the animal in general. She always promptly replied answering all my questions, a today was another example of that. I posted this (http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...-to-Find-Mites!) today and got a quick response from Jen. She had already contacted their store and let them know I would be comming in today. I am still at work so my wife and son went in. One of the employees had already set aside PAM and Reptile Relief. She went to pay and they gave her 10% off of the products and a free bag of substrate, when my wife asked why they were giving us the discount they just said "for your troubles". In my mind that is totally above and beyond, the mites weren't in any way linked to them and they still discounted the products. Again just wanted to give one more example of why I am a life long customer.

I'm just happy we were able to help you out Sucks to come back from a work trip right before Christmas and find mites. I let Loren know it was one of our breeding center skinks, I think he felt a little bit of the Christmas spirit!

Keep enjoying your skink, and be sure to let me know how the mite treatment goes. As long as you keep it up weekly for a couple weeks, you should be able to get rid of them completely.

A+++ for lllreptiles. Ive been shopping with them online and at the reptile shows all the time. A very good 8 plus years of experience. Always helpful. I hardly called customer care but I believed Jen was the one who resolved my problems!

Another AAA rating for LLL Reptile from me! I usually visit the Menifee store for our reptile needs. The people there are great. Very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. They are great about letting my kids handle various reptiles while there. Prices are great!

We took a (long) ride to the Oceanside store on Black Friday just to check out the store and ended up getting a baby male Butter ball python. He is doing great!

Highly recommended. Be sure and check them out at the Reptile Super Show in Pomona

PS - Jen, my 9 year old daughter watches all of your videos and is a big fan. She has been hoping to meet you either at one of the stores and shows. So far she has struck out. Are you going to be at Pomona on the 4th?

I will be at the Pomona show on the Saturday of the show...which is the 4th! Let your daughter know if she wants, she can be on YouTube with me - I have been trying to do more of the show videos lately and it'd be great to have someone to interview at Pomona!!

If the mites didn't come from LLL, then where did they come from? I am just trying to get some clarification, as I am confused by those two statements.

The skink was my newest addition, I have had him for over a month and saw no visuals of mites, in that entire span. The mites life cycle is about 30 days so I would think they would have shown up in that time frame. The mites could have easily come from us, they can hitch a ride on clothes, from someone elses collection (our friends have reptiles as well), so it is more than likely we introducted them.

Also when I get my enclosures I Wash/bleach them and scrub them down, any decorations that are wood get baked in the oven for 2 hours after being bleached and any water bowls etc get submerged and bleached as well.
