Glad to hear of another person rescues the "undesirables". I have had people walk up to me when I have the shepherd out and say "what a waste a shepherd with no tail" To which I always reply mind your own ****** business! Seriously though rescues always make the best dogs IMO as long as you are able to put the effort into them that they need. My wife an I have a long term goal once we are financially stable enough and our son is a little older to where he can work there and we plan on opening a rescue of our own for aggressive/abused animals.Originally Posted by Crazymonkee

My chihuahua is rescue with major aggression issues, he was highly abused. He has come a long way.
I tend to get the ones that no one would work either... my Siberian had major food aggression, my one Shepherd hated all people but me. But she was the most loyal well behaved dog I've ever owned.
