    Re: Line down belly???

I have over 70 and this is the only one like this... I think I'm doing something right. Her sister is perfectly fine with no health problems at all

One month QT is a bad idea no matter how many snakes you have. With over 70 specimens I am surprised you would run such a wild risk. The pictures of that snake are horrible, she is in need of veterinary assistance. Looks like stuck shed/dry skin, URI, possible mouth rot. Have you checked inside her mouth for "cheese?"

    Re: Line down belly???

I got her stuck shed off that's why the picture looks bad and if you look at the last pic I posted the jaw isn't that bad it must be the way I was holding her. I talked to the guy I got her from and he assured me that she would be fine putting in with others when I got her but I did a qt for a shorter time than most of you think I should have but every one around her are perfectly fine I just checked them all well.

Dude I am not trying to bash you but this was a bad move/risk on your part. She "WAS" in good health when you got her so it is either 1: pre-existing Or 2: you did something wrong, either way there is a good chance you are going to have more problems.
Consider all 70 in QT now. FYI I could care less if you have 1 or 1000, neither impress me because you still took a gamble on a way to short QT. I have a couple really close friends that I trade with and they still get a 90 day QT. I have too much investment to roll the dice on.
Put your temps up to 95 and get her to your vet asap.

BTW she was fine 30 days ago too.

    Re: Line down belly???

Are you going to take someone else's word for it? And jeopardize your others? I can't believe with 70 that your qt protocol is that slack... Maybe I'm obsessive/anal, with only 11, but I worry bringing anyone new in. I don't like having one in qt. I ALWAYS worry about my others.
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

Even if you got the stuck shed off she still needs to see a vet. Something is not right with her mouth. I wouldn't have even thought about breeding a snake in that condition.

That means something happened while she was under your care. And the general consensus is that it wasn't very good care. Just take her to a vet please. For her sake.
