I need humidity help!
I have my first snake, a baby Ball Python, in a small tank but cant get the humidity up. The humidity is usually around 30%-40%. Im keeping the snake on aspen with two hides, one on the warm one on the cool. The temp of the hot spot is 85-95 degrees. I also have the water dish on the warm side and a humid hide on the cool side because the warm side doesn't have too much room. As far as lighting I have a normal light in the middle of the top to light the tank. The screen top is covered by a piece of cardboard wrapped in tape with holes cut out for ventilation. Is there anything I can do to raise humidity??

Could I get away with replacing it less often than that?

Is once a month that often? It is no more than aspen.

Fair enough, anything else I can do to help?

Re: I need humidity help!
No matter what substrate you use... there should be a full clean out once a month.
Eco Earth is awesome for keeping humidity
