Very new to breeding and would like some preliminary advice.

I have a normal male that I would like to breed eventually to produce some cool looking offspring. I need to brush up on genetics, but what type of female morph would I have to purchase in order to have a clutch that wasn't just normals? Here is my male btw:

Any Co-dominant gene would give each egg laid a 50% chance at being normal or that morph. Here's a site where you can see what the odds are favor of when breeding. Because you are using a normal as half of your gene pool you should expect at least 50% normal so you don't get disappointed.

Or, you could breed him to a "super" form (super pastel, super mojave, super lesser, etc) and then you won't get any normals. Because he's really dark, a pretty super mojave girl and he would make some nice mojave babies.

Black Pastel or Cinny would go nice there as well.

I have a very dark 0.1 Normal that I paired with my 1.0 Black Pastel 100% Het Pied.
