How long can live rat pups stay alive in plastic cage with out water and high heat. I got some free ones but isn't time to feed yet

Umm, hours? They're very young babies that need to nurse to live.

Maybe a day or two but honestly freezing them off would be better.

If feeding isn't later tonight they'll probably be dead before you are ready.

You can always euthanize them and freeze them.

Yes don't let them die of starvation, humanely euthanize and freeze for later
