I am planning to use some shelving that hangs on the wall to put them on they can hold up to 300 lbs per support. They hook onto a rail that attaches to a stud in the wall. Here is the website that sells them.

I want to put like maybe six of the Rubbermaid Tubs on the rack. The best thing they are really adjustable and dont take up any floor space.
Thanks,
Damien

That size is fine...I personally prefer to give my BP height as he loves to climb - but then again he's still young.
How do you plan to provide heat?
Ball Python, Bredl's Carpet Python, Kenyan Sand Boa, Saharan Sand Boa
Mexican Black King, California King, Snow Corn, Okeetee Corn, Everglades Ratsnake

Wait...I had to look at it again due to Godfather's post.
If 9" is the depth/width than yes it's too small. I looked at it and thought that was the height.

way too small, its only 19 gallons anyhow. It will work for maybe a year or year and a half

It's 9" high/deep, 16.25" wide and 39" long. It's not exactly generous accomodations, but it should work for an adult bp. I would suggest/recommend something more like the model 1996 here http://www.sterilite.com/Category.ht...uctCategory=40 or the seasonally available plastic tree storage containers.

The Sterilite Box was my next choice i was trying to keep the boxes from protruding from the wall so far but i can give up 4 inches or so.
Did anyone check out the shelving?
Since ball pythons are terestrial this would mean that they would appreciate the floor space.
I plan on using a human heating pad that i tested at 90 degrees on medium this is the same one that gets to like 109 on low. LOL.
The pad is 13"x13".
Thanks,
Damien

I've used that kind of shelving before and it would be fine as long as you mount it to studs and don't knock into the brackets too often. Balls will generally appreciate floor space over height as you said, so the longer or wider containers are going to be a better choice for them than the ones that get their volume from height.

Ok I am going to buy all the shelving i need this weekend and hang it all up along with the sterilite 1996 underbed storage tubs. I plan to keep about 6 adult ball pythons. I am going to use wire shelving like they do in closets they are rated at 100lbs each. But i plan on getting those by getting a girlfriend for my Jojo and make some baby ball pythons. LLLReptiles are selling 5 Females for 229.00 so thats a definite possibility.
Thanks,
Damien

Just make sure you mount it on studs. I made the mistake several years ago of just mounting the wire shelving to drywall in my laundry area and the detergent bottles were too heavy for it and caused the holes to grow and the shelves to tilt over time.
