I know we carry PAM on our website, most reptile specialty shops *should* have it but not all of them will carry it. It's such a helpful and commonly recommended mite treatment it surprises me to hear of reptile shops not carrying it.
Sometimes a scratch or bite on the head gets missed during a funky squeeze. Either way, whatever the cause, just dab some neosporin on it and keep an eye on it. It should heal up and be gone after a couple of shed cycles.
