    Leaving it alone and seeing if they fix it on the next shed is much less likely to cause harm than poking around their eyes trying to help them, IMO.

    If they pile up multiple stuck caps you will probably want to do something. There are things people do to remove stuck caps or you can take him/her to a vet for help with it.

    But for one or two, you can probably just wait it out and see if they fix it themselves.
