I just thought a channel like Animal Planet would be a little less biased and be less on the shock factor value and more on quality, factual information.

Animal Planet, TLC, Discovery have all gone downhill in recent years. They all used to be good channels with good shows that were informative without trying to resort to being shock based.

Now it just seems like it's all Platypus vs Marmot shows where they spend 60 minutes making up fights between two animals, or Extreme Animal Tails or crap like that. I don't even bother watching anymore.

Planet Earth and Blue Seas were the last quality shows any of them produced, IMO.
