Unhappy why will mojo never come out?

I have a new ball python named Mojo. He is about 1 year old. He recently went through a shed. I am wondering why mojo will never come out of his cave/hide at all to play or hang out mojo is a ball python.

That means he's happy! a hiding ball is a happy healthy ball. My little pastel is rarely out, while my big wild-type only really comes out of her hide on her own when she's hungry.

In the wild they spend most of their lives in a burrow, besides they are nocturnal.

Coughing? Like wheezing, clicking, yawning, things like that? It definitely could be an RI. You'll need to get him to a reliable reptile vet for examination and official diagnosis.

What are your husbandry perameters? Hotspot, cool side temps, humidity levels?
