    New additionals

So I went to the Repticon mainly just to go as I wasn't planning on picking anything up due to upcoming costs of doing upgrades and stuff to my bike. So I spoke with a friend and was going to take a loss on my Enchi in a trade but I ended up getting about what I wanted for her in a last minute trade for a Pastel Lesser from another guy at the Repticon, though I still took a loss, the quality of the pastel lesser was okay to make up the difference to me.

Now since I was originally going to trade with a friend and had that last minute trade come up, I knew he wanted that Anaconda and I still wanted a Butter as well as a Fire female. They had a 6' female green anaconda at the show that they were asking $225. I naturally asked what would he take for her(prior to this I knew the guy was selling for another person). So he said $175, and off topic for a minute but this girl was a sweetheart. So I got her for $175 and brought her to my friend and said I'll give you this green girl(since his passed away somewhere along the pregnancy) for the butter male(which I had pointed to which I had wanted the day before) and for a fire female. I only did this because he was going to give a Pied for it earlier but the guy hates ball pythons. So I figure we'd both come out on top, because a female breeder green that's not aggressive is worth a few hundred anyway.

So all in all I got a Pastel Lesser male, Butter male and I'll get a Fire female whenever he gets one. Now I can aim for Butter Fire then Nuclear Bee's .

Only downfall of it all is when I got home and checked my Pastel Lesser over I noticed mites. So being a good person I had to find out who the guy was at the table then I looked up his website and gave him a call and told him that the PL had mites so when he got home he needed to treat his snakes for mites. I was nice to say that he probably got them from the show, but being that I've killed about 10 of them and he was on the top of the display farthest from the customers he most likely had them prior to the show. So now I have two different quarantines(fun, not really). I kinda feel bad for my PL because he's sitting on the kitchen table while my Butter is in the living room. I have my Rufous Beaked in my bedroom and the spare bedroom is my ball python room, so only place to really qt them.

Yeah I went to buy my first and just one ball python at my first repti con, which I did, went to a second with no plans to buy anything and just about left with a snake and whole set up. Sounds impossible to go to these things and buy nothing

Yea, so basically I got a Fire female & a Butter male for $175.

A girl that bought my Spider ended up selling most of her collection and among it was a Pied male & Albino female. I passed it on to my friends in case any were interested and one was and ended up buying both of them. He didn't have a setup for them though so he asked me to watch them for about a week until he can get a rack and all that, so I said that's fine. Well I decided to snap a picture of them as well as my new additionals .

    I'll post in a minute.

Nice haul for not planning on picking anything up. Too bad about the mites though. I hate mites.

I know. It's annoying. I need to get PAM too, I just realized I'm out, though I have Reptile Relief but that stuff is garbage for bedding. I always treat new animals regardless though, it's the reason I've never had to battle mites on my collection. Hell I even spray the spare room floor(which is why I'm out).

    So here are the pictures:

    First is my Pastel Lesser:

    Next is my Butter:

Now the Albino I'm snake sitting for a friend:

And the Pied I'm snake sitting for a friend:

One thing I will say is I've never really liked Albinos and Pieds. I've figured out the reason I don't really like Albino and it's because of the eyes. Yep, the eyes. Now while I couldn't narrow a reason on the Pieds, I've recently come to really like this Pied and it sucks that he has to leave next week. Though I just wanted to share with you guys/gals.
