Dumb Question... What Do You Do With Them After They Hatch?

I know almost nothing about breeding, and when it comes to genetics and morphs, I know some are fun to look at... I'm curious though. If I understand correctly, many pairings result in clutches that contain at least some normal babies, right? For example, if I bred a Banana to a normal, I'd theoretically end up with half normal and half Banana. So... What do you so with those normals?

Edit- On second thought, maybe a pair of Fire Balls would be a better example. If I was trying to produce Super Fires, what would I do with the 25% of the clutch that would theoretically be normals?

Correct. Your fire x fire example would result in 25% super fires, 50% fires, and 25% normals.

As for what I personally do with normals. There are a few options. Majority of mine got sold at our Iowa reptile show, but I've sold a lot of normals on Craigslist or other local classified ads. Locally I have better luck with getting found via Craigslist. I have also sold normals to pet stores and at local exotic animal shows.

Dumb Question... What Do You Do With Them After They Hatch?

I know this isn't the correct thread but I'm guessing you have a female and male separate right ? Thinking of breeding but I can't have them living together so i would need a viv for each one ?

    Thanks

I get plenty of normals every year, but they're also usually the first to sell out due to them being inexpensive. They really do make great beginner snakes for people new to the hobby.

It's best to have a seperate cage for each one anyway whether you plan to breed them evenually or not. They just generally do better with their own place.

As mentioned above, local Craigslist adds are always a good place to sell them. I also would recommend talking with vendors at your local shows. I have whole saled my normals to one of the local vendors in my area a time or two.
