I put tin foil overtop my mesh screen lid when the humidity gets low, it works out pretty well. I also have a small humidifer purchased from Walmart for around $20 (if you're finding it too difficult to keep up humidity - keep in mind substrate like aspen and paper can dry out the vive as well). I have heard of putting damp towels overtop the lid too, however for myself I feel as though being next to a red bulb it is a fire hazard. Just be cautious putting anything next to a heat source like that.

Your skin's temperature is well above that of the surrounding area, and even your snake's hot spot, so having her out with your shouldn't be a problem. I would keep away from any drafts, though, just in case it is uncomfortable for her.
