I'm not a breeder. That said I would go for a single gened male and work your way up. If you get a dominant or codominant male then you can keep a female baby that shares the gene and breed back to dad for a super, plus the gene from dad. Just be prepared to keep ALL the babies. Mine were accidentally bred this year and IF I get babies then I plan to keep a female yb like the dad would be. Then when she got to the appropriate age and weight breed her back and see what I get. Equipment is going to be your main expense right now. Start getting that together then think about the breeding aspect of it. You can start by getting 1 or 2 things at a time and go from there. Say you get a good thermostat then get the flexwatt, then get the rack, and then an incubator. After you get all that you pick up a single gene male and get both your snakes to the size you want and just try. There are no guarantees in the world of breeding anything.
