    Pic's of my new Rescue

You can use MDF but you have to seal it if it gets wet it will expand. To seal that you can use that wood laminate like they use for cabinet tops those are water resistant. Then in the corners just put a bead of silicone so nothing can seep between the boards. I am working on a 3D Rendered model of one i want to build out of 5/8" MDF. MDF is tough i use it to make subwoofer enclosures out of its also sound proof to a certain degree.
    Thanks,
    Damien

I thought pine was toxic to bp's and other snakes????
You could use MDO board also.
Heck I could get one of my carpenters to make me a heck of a cage and all the material would be free. Scrapes from my job sites.
I haven't done it because of the pine thing

Pine and cedar should be avoided, as should redwood, because they contain high levels of toxic phenols. If sealed thoroughly enough, it won't really make a difference though.

    DUH! IM such an idiot.
I have been building an enclosure (havnt decided if its going to be for the bearded dragon or the boa)
I got pine plywood. I knew that was toxic to reptiles why in the world did I buy it?

Question though, I am lining it with Vinyl (kitchen floor type of stuff) and sealing the edges... Do ya think it will be ok?

I'd seal it thoroughly inside and out first, then add the vinyl. Better safe than sorry, right?
