Orlando, but not anymore, I HATED it. I moved back to NM first chance I could.

Lots to do, near beaches, mild winters…. Lots of herps! That part was great! Found snakes, frogs, lizards (had a house gecko that kept getting into the house!) and alligators…. That part was my favorite.

The summer SUCKS! I was MISERABLE. But I'm New Mexican, so it was about as extremely opposite as it could be. I personally hated the winters too. I like seasons. I guess that's fine for some people, but I can't stand warm weather year round. The drivers are horrible, it's all Disney tourists, older folks, and angry locals. You had to drive forever to get anywhere. It took me at least half an hour to get to work every day and it wasn't very long between point A and point B, but the roads are stupid and winding and not on a good system at all. And there is rush hour traffic like five times a day. Even late at night. It smells like a swamp because it is one. The food was atrocious compared to any other city I've lived in. They don't sell tortillas and green chile in every grocery store (oh wait, that probably only affects me, lol!). It's way overcrowded all the time. There's a ton of pollution, you can't see the stars, and you can barely escape the noise of constant traffic. It rains every single day in the summer just enough to make everything even hotter and stickier and ruin your clothes and hair. It's just a dirty city, and I never ever want to live there again, for anything. But again, I am from New Mexico. Wide open, very clean, and has great weather and delicious food, so I'm probably an extreme case.

Well, I was down there for an internship with Disney (which I loved, which is why I stayed as long as I did), so I can't say about normal people work

I'll wrap it up to say it's a nice place to visit (especially in spring and fall) but I would never ever live there again. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to.
