Do a google images search for ball python stuck eyecap, there you will find a number of pictures of what you are looking for. If you can't see any stuck shed pin the snake and the eyes look normal I doubt that your snake has stuck eyecups.

There isn't any reason to feed your snake in a separate tub, feeding a snake in its cage won't cause aggression, and in fact feeding in a separate tub can actually increase your chances of getting bit.

What size/type of cage do you have?
What are you looking to heat the cage?
What are you using to measure temperatures?
