Make sure it is cotton as cotton is breathable. I have done this twice and although it didn't help me I can promise my girl could breath just fineMy pastels shed was very stuck and after bathing and the pillowcase I couldn't get it off so I took her to the place I bought her from and they proceeded to rub it off her. She was left with a retained eye cap which came off with the next shed.
