    I don't see a link posted, but I'm guessing you have a regular BP (correct me if I'm wrong). Yea, that's completely normal. After my regular sheds I see a little bit of translucent color on his scales.

    Hi,

    It looks like he had a bit of a rough shed and removed the very top layer of large numbers of his new scales. It should fix itself if you raise the humidity before his next shed.

    But the iridescence is normal and can really look great in the right light.

    7 adult Royals (2.5), 1.0 COS Pastel, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Lesser platty Royal python, 1.1 Black pastel Royal python, 0.1 Blue eyed leucistic ( Super lesser), 0.1 Piebald Royal python, 1.0 Sinaloan milk snake 1.0 crested gecko and 1 bad case of ETS. no wife, no surprise.
