Question Help? My BP has mucus in her mouth?

I've noticed this a while ago, I even took her to the vet to get her medicine but months later looks like she still has it. When she bites on her food I can see slimy substance on the rat... is this something to be seriously worried about? If it helps, she's been eating fine

    Are there any other symptoms?

It's normal to see saliva on the rat if they have been biting it.

That sounds like an RI that didn't go away. You should take her back to the vet before it gets worse.

Just out of my own curiosity, I the wheezing or cold like sound pretty audible? I don't think my snakes have a RI but I woul like to know in the event that they ever get one. Could you hear the cold like sound fairly well OP?

When a snake has a fairly severe RI, the wheezing and gagging/hacking/mucousy sounds are definitely audible. Not necessarily all the time, but definitely audible a good chunk of the time. They yawn a lot, rest with their heads facing up, etc.

Thank you! I am a paranoid freak lol. They are exhibiting no signs of RIs at all but every now and then I will hold them up to my ears to make sure I don't hear anything LOL! What a weirdo I know!!

The vet here is horrible. Doesn't know at all what she's doing, and I can hear like ONE wheezing noise ever so often then it's nothing after. It's not like non stop wheezing or anything. To be specific it's like when you have a cold and try to breath in air through your nose, like a *psssh* sound. Not sure what I should do?

Sure she isn't hissing to herself?

I'd keep a close eye on it for now.
