I'd drive up to PA and then race a boat across Lake Erie, evading border patrol. That would be sick.

I do a lot of fish sampling on Lake Erie... I can pick you up in my boat and say you're a research assistant muahaha

Pick me up and use me as a flotation device until the rendezvous. If you get caught tell them I'm a rare freshwater sasquatch you found floating in the water and couldn't find anyone to report it to. Then they let you go and take me away for scientific study.
