Corrected my Manager about BP Morphs

I work at Petco, and the other day was feeding day for all the snakes.

We currently have two pastels and a spider, along with the normals. (They're not in the same tank, of course).
The manager went to put the pastels in the normals' enclosure, and I told her, "Those are the pastels." She pointed at the spider (which was already put away) and said, "No, that's the pastel."
I told her, "No, that's the spider. The ones with yellow on their sides are the pastels." She looked at them for a second and was like, "Oh."

I think some of the employees need a refresher course on the (as they're referred to in the store) 'specialty colors.'

Petco near me keeps all the BPs together and they are priced the same. The fish/reptile keeper was stunned when I pointed out a lesser butter a few weeks ago!

You should have saved the poor fellow considering they probably only wanted like 80$ for him

    Cedor, I couldn't agree more.

plus it's also ridiculous that the manager of a pet store doesn't know what he or she is talking about..to do your job you should know all aspects of it..I'm not allowed to not know my job.

OP maybe you need to look into getting the position as a manager,I'm sure you'd be way better. Some people don't deserve there job titles, while others deserve it.

manager= supervisor another term for supervisor is stupidvisor, fits the bill almost every time

I did and he was a gorgeous little addition until unexpectedly dying last week. I'm still upset at his passing, he was a beautiful snake and very sweet.

My daughter works at Banfield in a Petsmart. One day they were looking for the Rosy Boa they had as no one could locate it. It had been there the day before and no one had purchased it. After asking a few of the employees, one of them said,"I just put it back with the other one". The manager said, "we don't have another one, can you show me where"? The employee pointed to the tank where sat, a very fat and happy looking ........duhn, duhn, duuuhhhhnn, "Albino Kingsnake".

Just remember, when you don't know what your doing, you could be an accomplice to "murder."
