Help, Power Out!!!
So I was literally in the middle of feeding my girls when the power flickered out. I'm calling our super in a moment, but if the power doesn't come on soon, what can I do to help them digest without their hotspot???
1.1 Ball Pythons

If it is a long term outage I would see if you can find any way to heat water ( gas etc ) and put warm bottles wrapped in towels into their enclosure.

Yeah hot water bottles with warm water, heated with gas if you have a gas cooker (hob)

Hot water bottles in socks.
If it's a long term outage, get a cooler and pack your snakes into snake backs. Then put them into the insulated cooler with the hot water bottles.
The bottles can keep a steady 80-85 in an insulated box for at least 5 hours before needing to refill them again.

Power is back on, thank the powers that be. Now I just have a stubborn eater on my hands... Isabelle,my new pastel, is interested in her prey, but unwilling to strike. I have FT available at the moment, so I have tried reheating and letting it bleed a bit to enhance the prey smell. Next thing I was gonna try is just leaving the thawed prey in her warm hide and letting her process it on her own time. Does that sound okay?
My bigger normal girl is a garbage disposal, so I haven't had to deal with feeding issues before. But Izzy's only about 80g and I would like to get a meal into her sooner rather than later. I was planning to go out for dinner, do you think I should just feed it off to Nessie if it's still hanging around when I get home?

Yes. Just leave it in there overnight and check it in the morning.
It is okay to use pine bedding for snakes.
It is okay to feed live food to snakes.

Whoop, spoke too soon. Power out again...looks like I'm going to get whatever warm water I can out of the faucets and fill some bottles.
