    It's a number system to convey number of a certain gender. The number before the decimal is the number of males; the number following the decimal is the number of females. So 0.6 would be six females, 2.0 would be two males, and 1.2 would be one male and two females. Less commonly, there may be three numbers as so: 1.2.4 which would signify the previous one male and two females, but also four unsexed. :3
