PetSmart here sells "fancy Ball Pythons".
One of which I could have swore was a normal but after discussing what it could be and looking closely it turned out to be a very low quality pastel.
Could be the same sort of thing going on here.
I'm not a huge fan of using normal females to breed morphs on the cheap but, personally would prefer a good looking normal over a crappy morph to get fresh blood into projects and that way possibly contribute unknown polygenic factors to produce higher quality basic and designer morphs.









Definitely looks normal though.
