Go for a morph you like. Choosing a particular morph comes more into focus when breeding and pairing one more to another to create the required babies. I have a spider and a spider combo and both fed like champs but you should research into the wobble as it can lay dominant in youth and come out when they are older, however, some spiders don't ever show the wobble or such a little one you would barely notice.
Have a browse on WOBP at different morph's and try to see some in person as pictures rarely do them justice. If this is more for a pet you can pick one which particularly appeals to youAre you liking the darker morphs or he lighter ones?
In regard to king snakes I have no knowledge of this breed, their morphs or their husbandry I'm afraid so can't be of any help there.
