    Uninterested Male

I placed my male pewter with my female spider and they don't show any interest in each other but they'd lay together. Any tips on how to get them to lock up? I tried putting my pewter with other males but that didn't seem to work.

How long did you leave them together? Sometimes it takes a day or 2. Pair when a storm is moving in, always sets the mood 8) .

You can try wiping a sperm plug from another male on her back as well. Sometimes it just takes patience, and they will breed when they are ready. Just keep pairing

Another males shed is what got my Pastel Lesser going.

Thanks for the inputs. I am going to separate them until the next time another male sheds and try again. Thanks again.

Where might one find these? For my snakes of course.

The last two small males I got to breed I just put two males in at the same time. It did not take over a day for the results I was looking for. I will warn you though if you do not want the second gene from the other male then it may not be for you. I have literally only seen combat 2 times in my life in bp's and it was just a big shoving match both times. I did have good results using another males cage as the breeding cage. I just leave the paper in the tub from the first male(one that is a little used is best), and stick the female and male that I want her to breed to in there. He may crawl a whole lot and jerk a little, but he usually figures it out.
