    Angry My poor baby

My snake is a rescue and she has problems shedding correctly, I took her to a snake "expert" for probing and he tried to get the caps off of her eye, now her ye look s awful like she is blinded. I don't know what to do, any thoughts?

I'm sorry that happened to your girl. Was this a friend of yours, a vet, or just someone who thinks he know's what he's doing?

I'd suggest taking her to a veterinarian to make sure she doesn't develop an infection. The general rule of thumb is to simply leave the eyes alone, eye caps will almost always come off by themselves in time with proper humidity.

That being said, posting a FaunaClassifieds BOI on this "Expert" is advisable after finding out what kind of permanent damage has been done at a vet's office. Someone that ignorant shouldn't be treating other folks' snakes.

I'm not from up there but know that quite a few folks on the Facebook group 'WV Reptiles' are. Ask on it for a vet referral if you haven't found someone yet.

    Re: My poor baby

Was this a build up of multiple caps?
Everyone is right about the vet if you want you best bet for saving her eyesight.

Contrary to what everyone is saying caps can be removed with no harm. It just isn't something you advise newbies to start trying when, if it is just one bad shed fixing the husbandry issues and the next shed generally takes care of it.
What method did they use to remove the eye caps?

Sounds kind of like the 'expert' removed the live membrane?
    Pictures would be helpful.
