No. You need to be prepared for vet expenses and get the animal the care it deserves.

    Re: Drooling snake

If your vet is anything like mine it can take 2-3 days to get an appointment, unless you want to pay the emergency care fee. I would make the appointment tomorrow for Thursday or Friday. If the snake improves you can always cancel the appointment, if not at least you won't be waiting a week to start treatment.

I would call the vet for an appointment ASAP. Drooling isn't normal in any way for a BP. Even if it clears up,it still might be wise to get him checked over.

Went to the vet the OG has a bacterial infection with plaque built up in the roof of his mouth. The vet took a bit and checked it out and found bacteria. She gave me a chlorhex. Dilute mouthwash ti use once a day and baytryl with vitamins solutiin to give orally once a day for twenty days. Advised me to monitor weight and try to feed in a couple days. He is quarantined in another room with increased temps and humidity. Its bacterial but Im not taking any chances I tend to my other snakes first and then him and dint even wear the same clothes aroynd the other balls
