If that's the case, then either my husbu read the scale wrong, or it's not picking up his weight correctly. Any words for the loose skin? Is that normal?

What are you weighing him with? I am kind of doubting it right now.

Based on those pics I would throw him a pup any day. The flab is of little concern as long as it is not excessive.

The "flab" is actually loose skin because he is so thin. He is most likely bigger than 20 grams, but his spine is showing big time.
Try weighing something that you know the weight of... that will tell you if the scale is accurate.
I would definitely be feeding every 5 days for now, maybe even every 4

I am not seeing too much spine, then again it's probably due to years of having them come in with nothing but a spine. I would not suggest every 4 days, his stomach has likely shrunk a bit and he is not retic, obviously. Every five days is going to yield some good results...I can see that excess "flab" filling in after 4-6 feedings.

I just don't know what's going on.

I've fed him once the week before aftering bringing him home and he had eaten a mouse fuzzy, but he hasn't gotten any bigger or fatter since then and hasn't seemed to gain any weight since this last feeding.

Let me take some pictures of him, one sec. I think if you guys actually saw some better pics, you might be able to help me a bit better with some adequate information.
Did you have a weight from the breeder when you purchased him?

Flab is loose skin. Hes suppose to be larger/heavier than what he looks like. He can take larger prey than rat pinks.
I'd feed him rat fuzzies or mouse hoppers ever 4-5 days till he gets a healthy body condition.

We Purchased a mechanical scale at wal-mart :\ It was the most inexpensive one they had.

He looks a bit bigger than my albino and bee and they're 60g and 77g but weight can be deceiving. I'm putting mine on a 5 day feeding schedule (if they feed) My two fit so easily in my hand. I could probably have them both on my hand coiled up and I have small hands!

You want to get yourself a digital scale! I use a food scale for my guys, much more accurate and I'm sure mine was inexpensive
