Just a gripe

Gas may or may not be just as or less expensive than shipping five hours down the road. I know it would be a bit of a drive but it's not really any different than shipping.

I texted her again to let her know I was at my parents house, and if her friend went out of his way to meet us here, we'd comp in gas and/or coffee, or we could just meet in the town we had originally talked about. No reply, but she's post surgery so I don't know how loopy she is. I also don't know why I'm talking to her not him- I asked if she could give him my number on thursday. Guess what? No response to that.
Hopefully she lets me know in the AM and gives me a heads up :/

So the last I've heard anything about her friend was on Thursday afternoon when she said that he might ask for gas money if he had to go a little further. She never confirmed if he was coming down or not. It'd been over 12hours since I texted last with no response (giving her updated information where I was and offering to meet her friend). Sent her another text to ask if it had worked out just now- I feel like I'm being annoying with the text messaging, but lady you never told me yes or no and its sort of a big thing :/

Maybe I am not the best one to understand pain and recovery for some people, seeing as how when I had both my wisdom teeth pulled last year, refused pain killers, went home, wrote research papers, and kept my daily 4:30am run. I would seriously send her an ultimatum and giver her 7 days from the time the voice mail shows up, send an email later. If anything, you'll both be relieved to have things off your back. It's just not good in my book to get out of the game just because of a medical procedure...if it was something critical, then I would grab my brother before anesthesia and say, "clear my browsing history, email my professors, I want all my assignments for the time I will be out".

Surgery or no surgery she needs to communicate with you. Or if she isn't up to it then she needs to have her husband or a family member or someone do it. I would be worried too if I was you. I would give her a set amount of time to get the snake to you and if she doesn't, See about getting your money back. I am sorry this has been so hard for you.

So, the friend didn't come down that weekend and she had offered to come the weekend after that. After hearing about some of her reaction to medication she was in, I told her it'd probably be best and less stressful if Argo gets shipped. We were trying to figure out a day to do that andddd

I got a call from her this morning, her friend is coming down and was going to be coming through and did I just want to meet him and pick her up.
I pretty much was like HECK YESS.
So I'm getting argo in a few hours and yayyyyy

Just picked her up! She's gorgeous and tiny and so cute omg. She'll get a proper post with pictures when I get home and can get them, but every thing is resolved and I got her so yayyyy!
