from my understanding the amount of white will very with the snake itself. (my hets) produced 1 pied very low white which went to Heather Wong in a trade 2-3 years ago) the pieds i got in 2011 were medium amounts of white, I traded one off and kept the other. I hoping to se what I get this year. as my het seems to be willing to breed every other year. ( if I try for every year the second years clutch is either slugs or she don't go)
Was married to 4theSNAKElady (still wish we were)

Re: white % in piebald breeding
The answer to your question is something that I'm interested as well. Definitely keep me updated on this.
I'm looking for a Pied boy right now to breed with my Pastave Het. Pied in a couple of years so I can try for a Pasteve Pied.

Re: white % in piebald breeding
It is extremely variable. A pair of 99% white pieds can throw a 1% white pied baby and a pair of 1% white pieds can throw a 99% white pied. The amount of white in the parents has no impact on the amount of white the babies have. That is not to say that a certain pairing will not only produce high white or low white. That is something I can not speak on but I would think that would be a possibility.
Knowledge is earned not learned.

Wow those high white babies are sweet! I've always heard that it varies, but I'm wondering if breeding pied x pied if the gene is enhanced
