    Should I go for it?

I have friends that have a male pastel about 3 yrs old. He isn't doing so well. He refuses to eat because of no heat, also his cage is really small. As in no floor space for him to stretch out. He stays hidden behind the fake plants, no hides. I know I can get this one back in condition if he was with me because I can afford to properly house and feed him. I am already getting my girl back in condition just with proper housing, and food. I feel so bad for all their animals but can only help so much. With winter coming on I don't want this beautiful boy to suffer and possibly die because they can't afford to care for him and the others they have. Yes I really like the dark balls but I'm an animal lover and don't want any to suffer. Should I make an offer for him of $75-100? Or should I just forget it and go after the ball I want? I hate seeing anything suffer but animals that depend so much on us it really tears me up. I'm hoping they will agree with me and it will help them to not be in such a money crunch with 2 less mouths to feed (my girl and this pastel). Ugh dilemmas dilemmas. I know adult male pastels are going for the price I said because I've been looking at morph prices. I still want a dark or pied boy.

I think it is honestly up to you. I, personally, couldn't not buy him but I'm a little bit wacky and will currently take anything BP related! All you can do is make them an offer (if you decide to do so) and see if they will part with this boy. It is up to you though whether you want to wait a little longer on the morph you'd like.

This may sound awful, and I don't mean it to, but try to feel pressured into buying him because of their bad husbandry. It has to be your choice. I would write the pro's and con's on a piece of paper and see which wins out. Good luck!

If I can get him healthy again then my might breed him next uear to my girl. Yes she's normal but shes gorgeous. Or I can sell him to someone that will take care of him. I feel bad for this boy. When they got him he was ready to breed and still have reserves for an extended fast. Now he doesn't look or act like the same boy he was.

As I said I would take him. There are so many things you can do with a pastel and all else fails I think they are beautiful snakes! Let me know what you decide to do and if you do buy him pictures

Re: Should I go for it?

I would be scared to post pics because someone might think I did this to him plus they would see him if they get on here and get really mad. I don't like conflict. That's why I haven't posted pics of my girl before and after I got her back. They would recognize her. I just want to save this one if I can.

Ah, that is totally understandable of course! I think you've already sold yourself, go for it and let me know updates (without photographs I wouldn't want you to end up in trouble!)

We get paid tomorrow so I will be able to get him and everything he needs. I'm just worried about how hes going to deal with the stress of moving.

I'm sure he'll be okay and probably a lot happier to be in proper husbandry!

In the end I'm sure he'll be quite grateful
