So is there any advice that you guys would give for someone looking into carpet pythons. I currently have 3 different species of snake I have corns bps and 1 columbian rainbow boa from what ive read there the most similar to bp husbandry wise is this true?

They can get quite long, but they stay relatively light and slender compared to most boas.

Looking into carpet pythons
My advice, Get a Carpet for sure!
Such great snakes.
IMO they are a bit easier to keep than BPs.

I find them have a lot more personality than any other snake I own. When they are babies I find they are generally nippy, but once they get some size most will grow out of it. All 3 of my adults I wouldn't hesitate to hand over to a little kid, great snakes.

Carpets are awesome. I've found them to be pretty easy to keep so far, but the biggest difference that has taken me some time to get used to is how they move. They are arboreal and tend to throw their heads around a lot. It has taken me a while to get used to this as I am expecting them to try to bite me every time they do. I have 5 juveniles right now and 2 of them I trust not to bite me, 2 I expect to snap at me and 1 it depends on the day. All of the adults I have met at great though, I haven't met one that has an attitude.

I love my bredli, and I have a baby mcdowlii problem child that im trying to keep alive, but I find them far more fun that the ball pythons, more active, the mcdowlii keeps me on my toes, its a biter, and it doesnt eat, go figure. Really fun snakes.

i highly reccomend both. my IJ is hands down my fav snake i've ever had. her personality is awesome, she makes a great display and she is easily handled. way more fun than a BP for sure. they are also the smallest of the carpets. jungles are just as cool. easy to handle and have great personalities.
