    Idk man. I leave a day light bulb on half the day and the other half a red bulb..he is not even close to stressed.. Hes quiet happy relaxed friendly hungry,sheds great and is always chillin in his hide...heat bulbs are the only way I can keep the heat up in the tank,obviously. Since it's not a rack system..but I am considering getting a couple ceramic heat emmitters for night time.

    plus I can't see how a day time bulb will bother them or hurt them,they hide90% of the time and if your bp is out all hours during the day or is not in his hide during the day and is clearly visible there is something wrong
