He's from a Mojave to a normal het Pied female. But the recent clutch he sired threw out the insane paradox from a normal pinstripe female. Josh is paring up the Mojave sire again to see if he gets any more 'crazy' babies

Well even with all the polymorphism involved his overall look patterning and color etc. Seems to have a seperate gene in there. I guess we won't know until he is proved out

See I was thinking the same thing when I saw this picture come up on my FB feed, and its also on WOBP as a Mojave Calico. Oddly enough it looks identical to my male, but no way is either of the parents have calico in them (that we know of). But yea, time will tell when I get to breed him. I have a Vanilla het Pied/Hypo for him and will be putting him to a few others that will be ready next season.

And this is my boy again for comparison. (lighting is different)

All the polymorphism involved? Its a mojo. Its looks funky because its most likely het pied. (I would say definitely het pied but i don't wanna get stoned by you people). Het pied does funny stuff to morphs

Polymorphism as in there are extremes to every morph. There's polymorphism In any single gene. Their will always be odd balls yeah het pied does stuff technically two genes involved but there still seems to be something else in play.

If the patterns weren't connected, I would have just said regular mojave. A number of mojave's from Brian Gundy's Gold Blush line would look very similar if they weren't connected.

For now, I will bet it's the het pied gene highly expressing itself and doing funky things.
Het pied changes phenotype in a lot of morphs.

Examples that are similar to the OP's mojave, imo.
    - has similar floating connected alien heads

    Alan1's Lesser 100% het pied

    alfaregius's Lesser PH pied

    Cinnamon 100% het pied
