    Thinking about investing....

Smulkin just sent me this link, then he signed off. I assume it can be used for cleaning reptile enclosures as well as kitchen countertops.

That is very interesting as well as cheap thanks for the link! Will have to try it sometime for cleaning the kitchen since the Mr takes care of cleaning after the snakes, lol.

To once again expose my nerdy side another great use for apple cider vinegar is getting rid of strep throat. Strange as it may sound I used to get strep quite often and my doctor reccomended giving it a shot if I feel it starting again. Basically take a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and mix it with water (try to keep as little water as possible in the mixture so mix as strong as you can handle) then gargle with it for about a minute - do this three times a day for a few days and during the first time you do it you can feel a slight stinging on the back of your throat - that would be the streptechocis or however you spell it being killed by the high acidity of the apple cider vinegar. It really does work as odd as it seems. Just a tip for those of you who may be getting a sore throat... oh yeah and swallow it after you gargle with it - first off it hits the back of your throat that way and second it is a good source of potassium!

Thanks for the tip, Jonah. I'll have to torture my kids with it the next time they complain of a sore throat and ask to stay home from school.

THAT's why my sister never seemed to get sore throats. She always drank the pickle juice! Thanks for the link, Smynx. That will come in quite useful when I no longer have my roommate as a source for free chemicals.

LOL, Jonah. My roommate works at a chemical manufacturing company that may well supply your college with some of the chemicals it uses. They manufacture janitorial chemicals, industrial lubricants, water-treatment chemicals, and air fresheners, among other things.
