Oh dear. My other half's cousin hates snakes... actually scared of them and I got him to go to a reptile show with us. And he's perfectly fine with me letting his 5yr old daughter "pet" them lol, she's not up to holding them yet .
There are quite a few options under $1000

    Re: Looking at possible morphs.

If you go to the Repticon website you will see a list of vendors for each show. Many of these vendors will have websites or Facebook pages that will show their available stock so if you find what you are looking for most vendors will happily hold it at their table for a small deposit I did this recently with a pair of specimens.

I'm looking to do the same in a couple of months. I'm liking Black Pastels and Black Axanthics.

    Re: Looking at possible morphs.

So I'm not the only one that likes the darker morphs. I would prefer to pay under $500. I know I can't afford it right now that is why I'm just looking imto it. I want to consider all my options before I commit to taking care of a pet I later decide I don't particularly like. I want to be able to look at these beautiful creatures and say yes I made a good choice on them. I got my girl before I was ready mentally I think but I still think I made a good choice and am still happy a little over 3 yrs later. I would post a pic but she is going through a bad shed as result of neglect from the people that were watching her. I am going to have to soak her. After thats done then I can post one and hopefully find a good match for her. She is beautiful to me.

I absolutely love the darker morphs
The black axanthics are beautiful. My dream snake is the 8ball. There are quite a few dark ones I will be adding to my collection

    Re: Looking at possible morphs.

This is why I'm taking my time picking out a new baby. I have noticed since getting all those nasty sheds off my girl yesterday she has lightened a little and she has more blushing on her sides. She looks clean and sleak again. I'm thinking a dark calico might be a good choice, but I've always loved the really low white pieds too.
