    I've had rats 'explode' because I was in a rush and an idiot and heated them up too quickly and if they're almost too warm when they hit them they rip the rat apart, I've also had a situation where the snake grabbed the head of the rat, and the body was left on my tongs >.> I just suggest thawing slower and heating it up gradually.

    Ohhhh myy gawwd!!! Ohhhh nooooo!! I've had rats pop on me and completely split from the neck down but never had the head just pop off! Oh god I hope that never happened to me. I'd have a mini freak out, then dispose of the..remains >.<
