Bumblebee or Fire?
Hey guys, need some opinions here (and even other morph suggestions if you'd like)
I have a pastel female who I'd like to breed in a couple of years when she is age and weight appropriate and so far I have found two morphs I am interested in from private breeders in my area. I was wondering which you think would be more appropriate between a bumblebee and a fire to go with her to get killer bees/firefly etc
On the other hand do you think I should be looking at different morphs? e.g. spider/pastel etc
Thanks in advance

What's morphs you work with is completely up to you, and what you like.
Part of the decision should come down to the quality of the snakes that you are looking at. If one is clearly a better example of the morph then that really is probably the one to go with.
Both pairings have the chance to make some cool BP's with powerful genetics behind them. I wouldn't hesitate to add either one of those to my collection.

Well the bee for killer bees, or the fire for firefly, whichever you would happier to see pip out would be the appropriate one to get.

There are so many amazing morphs around my area from private seller's at brilliant pricing. For example, for the price of the bumblebee I could get a spider male and a lemon blast male from another seller (and the bumblebee is going for half the usual rate as the owner is having to give up on the hobby).
I know it is down to quality of the BP's themselves. Anything you can suggest specifically looking out for?

Each morph has certain things that you want, and certain things that you don't want.
For example with pastels you want bright yellows with as little orange and brown as possible since the orange and brown will only get worse with age.
This is my pastel female when she was a hatchling:

And her at 1 kg

as you can see she's retaining most of her bright colors.

She's a gorgeous pastel! Unfortunately mine isn't quite as bright as yours but I went into it with my eyes basically shut. I have a little more knowledge now about BP's.
I'll have a look at the options and look fully into the possible offspring and see what I think I would personally like to breed in the future. Thank you for your help!

From a breeding aspect do you think my pastel is a little too dull in colouring? (it is bad, un-natural lighting in this picture but haven't got many more of her as yet)

What do you guys think of these two? Spider is striking now!

That spider is pretty. I prefer him out of the two.
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.
