Help something's wrong with our snake!
^ fed live and no furniture. She is kept in a cb70 tub with a smooth water bowl and just aspen. She's a big 2700 gram girl. The 2nd set of photos and more direct lighting. We put her In another cb70 with moist paper towel. Sprayed f10 on the tub first and some on the wound. Some Betadine as well?

Yikes. No idea. Has she been bred? I would go for a vet visit. Hope all turns out well.
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

Her previous owner has bred her and she has laid numerous times. We got her and started to feed her last year may/June. And we paired her with bumblebee/butters in nov/dec of 2012. But nothing came of it. She didn't take this past year. And I'm not sure what to make of this. It doesn't look good. And I thought maybe a rat got her. But she grabbed them so fast and strong I couldn't imagine them getting her that bad

I had a similar issue when a female showed a swollen and crusty vent. It doesn't look quite the same in the photos you posted, but to be on the safe side have your vet check her for intestinal parasites. GI parasites can cause bleeding and vent swelling.

Re: Help something's wrong with our snake!
I'd recommend a vet visit too - a course of anti-biotics might prevent any more trouble setting in.
Fingers crossed for her.

I am going to take her to see the vet hopefully tomorrow morning. Luckily we have a few hero vets in the area

It looks like a rat bite that has swollen up..sounds like you've gotten it all lined up with a vet visit and all. Good luck, I've seen them rebound from way way WAY worse than that.

Looks like a bite to me. Like the rat got the scale on the bottom lip of the vent

Re: Help something's wrong with our snake!
Update. Sorry for they long wait.
The injury got worse before it got better. Ended up taking a vet trip and having him remove dead tissue and inject an anti inflammatory. After that each day I would lightly wash the vent with warm water and light soap.
I'm happy to say it looks
95% Better and she has taken a meal since. Pics soon
