I just went through our first beardie shed recently. While he was shedding, I would hold him in the palm of my hand and mist him down really well, twice a day, and mist his cage a bit, too. I also put him in a little bath (only did this once) of tepid water that came just up to his side-spikes...mostly to make sure his feet got a good soaking so none of the shed would get stuck on his wittle toes. Other than that, I didn't do anything special. They don't shed all in one piece like snakes typically do...but in big patches. And they may eat the pieces, so if you think you see some and then later you don't...it's not your eyes playing tricks on ya.
