I don't doubt that the levels are that high, but what are you using to measure humidity? I would probably switch them to paper towels for the time being, and take out the eco earth to let it dry out for a few days. That said, I really don't think the humidity is all that bad as long as you have good airflow and the substrate isn't damp to the touch. When we have our evaporative cooler on in the summer, the ambient humidity is right around 75-80%, and I haven't had any issues with that.
