Have you ever read a news story that just REALLY pissed you off?

I'm not commenting simply because I'm too short tempered while reading this. Y'all do me a favor and comment for me, especially because this was a true hobbyist- albeit a bad apple for knowingly breaking the law- and they CITED THE CANADIAN PYTHON CASE AS THEIR REASONING FOR EXECUTING A SEARCH WARRANT. Ugh!

I know he broke laws so I should not side with him...but really...what you choose to do in your home is what you choose to do in YOUR OWN home. Yes there are irresponsible owners out there that cause issues. I am pretty sure there are far more bad dog owners out there than bad snake owners...when is the last time you heard of a "dangerous" dog being confiscated?

What drives me nuts is that the HS can cite the unproven Canadian story with the two boys to allow a search warrant for the cops to bust in through your door. Imagine this happening to you even if you were following the laws, all simply over some other nosy bystander- relative or not- worried about individuals in your home because of their stupid phobia, and then the only logic behind a search warrant is the hysteria behind the viral Canadian python story(s). Hysterical fear was their only reasoning for the search warrant. Granted he was breaking the local laws, but you see where I'm coming from, right?

When they are "at large" or, after complaints of an actual attack as opposed to a potential negative interaction.
