As everyone said, welcome to the greatest & most friendly AND informative site on the planet. You should wait at least a week to feed, as has been said, unless your snake is in or goes into a shed during that time. Another general rule of thumb is that you should not feed snakes during a shed as digestion at this time can make things even more uncomfortable.

Two other important things are that if your snake is not already, you should try to get him/her feeding on frozen/thawed mice or rats as soon as possible! That is numero uno & the second thing is, try not handling him/her other than when completely necessary for at least a week if not more because the snake will be very nervous & very antsy until it gets settled into its new home!
