Good PVC cages for RTB?

I seriously cannot get the idea of having one out of my head. Now I'm not saying I'm getting one any time soon (maybe after taxes), but just so I can get prepared and price things out. I have two T8s but I'd like something with some climbing room for the boa. What enclosures do you have for your boas?

I went with proline cages that are 48x24x14. I live in a cold area and use RHPs to heat the cages and I thought that cages that were too tall would make it hard to maintain proper heat. They work great for me, good luck and don't be shy with the pics!

For a RTB I would go with an AP T20

I also have a proline, but its 48x24x18. I like the extra bit of height a lot, and my boa takes advantage of it. I absolutely love the cage.

I have a Boaphile Arboreal 3' long model that I use for my BCI's until they outgrow it. It is easy to maintain heat and humidity, easy to clean, and the RHP and UTH came pre-installed so all I needed was two thermostats and it was ready to go. The only downside is that my BCI's really don't make much use of the extra height; mine usually stay in their hides or burrow into the cypress substrate a bit. Now, that could just be because I've only used it for the younger ones and until the get larger/older they tend to hide more, and then they become more confident as adults so they would make use of the space.

I use Constrictors NW (ProLine). These are awesome cages. Ed uses HDPE plastic rather than PVC - it does not stain or absorb odors like pvc sometimes can - and they are extremely well-made. I like the 60x26x16 size for my boas.

Btw, 400 for a boa cage is not unusual. Appropriate cages are expensive.

I bought it used off of CL for half that price , but I had to go pick it up in northern VA rushhour evening traffic. If you're in the market check CL every day and you can find screaming deals on larger enclosures, especially if you are willing to pay cash and pick them up. And honestly, $400 isn't bad when you consider a snake could live 20+ years in it, and you will save much more than that in time, aggravation, and frustration trying to maintain appropriate heat and humidity levels in a cheap tank.

bcr229- What size do you use for your adults?

4'x30" for males, 5'x30" for females if (fingers crossed) they stay under 10', otherwise I'll need to either buy or build some 6'x30" ones. I do have two 8'x30" monster enclosures but they've got the dividers to turn into 2 separate 4'x30", and at 8' they're a bit oversized for a BCI. They were another used enclosure score.

Im ok with tools and will probably just build an inclosure when i decide to get a rtb. Think the ap inclosures are a little cheaper

$230 DELIVERED! Best plastic in the business IMO.

I added and $8 lock and 3 sets of perch holders. So I think I was in for about $260.

Way under $400.

Of course you need to set aside about $95 for a RHP. Then some lights and decor.
