As for biting, feeding in a different enclosure opens you up to way more bites. They are very bite during and after feeding time. It's something that I have always thought was funny about the "feeding in a different enclosure" myth. The whole point is to avoid 'aggression' which is really just to avoid getting bit, yet moving them after feeding is for sure going to get you bit some day. They are on edge, smell rodents, and you are a big warm easy target! I've never had a BP latch on to me, they usually tap you, or bite real quick and let go right away.
